You know an album is good when my biggest complaint is I wish the songs were longer (and the closer is a bit anticlimactic)

I respect the closer but it is definitely surprisingly mellow for such an immensely bombastic album
I used to feel the closer to Uinous was a bit underwhelming in that same regard but I've grown to really dig how Havukruunu leaves their records on these beautiful desolate notes, a calm after the storm if you will.

That is an interesting way to look at it because this is their third record that ended on a mellow note so you are probably onto something.
That being said I finally got the chance to listen to this album with my headphones instead of the car stereo and wow this album fucking rips. As someone who has been listening to them since Kelle Surut Soi it is super cool to see them go from being called Moonsorrow and Bathory wannabes to one of the leading bands in black metal. Although in my opinion they already were when they were just Moonsorrow and Bathory wannabes

Tracks 1, 3, and 7 really blew my mind, by listening to the album from start to finish is equally rewarding.
Track 7 with its chugging guitars pounds hard.
