gave it is a listen and holy shit dude
I love the production, the riffs are weird enough to be memorable, and the prog elements are woven super nicely into it, gives it a great contrast against the brutal death riffs.
my favorite album from this year so far. It wears its influences more directly, but it takes the best elements of their influences and makes it more memorable. i'll give it a soundoff today.

Listened to this a few times at the gym today and last Wednesday. There's a repetitive nature to the song structures here that stops just shy of being excessive and really drives those riffs into your skull. And there are enough 'breaks' here and there with funky bass lines 'n' other shenanigans that serve as palate cleansers between the next riff cycle. Not sure how they managed that balance, but I really dig it.
