I don't know why but this is a Christmas album for me lol. Every December I get the itch to play this thing.
I can't say it was an insta 5 for me, definitely took a few weeks if I recall. But now it's my top BM album period.

Wasn't an insta-5 for me but it got there obviously. Noctus is the friggin man. Really cool to see someone you've been friends with for over a decade make something as monumental as this. One of the best bm albums ever made.

i’m not gonna give some sophistic sob story but i WILL say the last four years have been maybe the worst period of my life and i’m turning 25 in a couple of days.
anyway, i relistened to this recently. something about it connected in my brain in a way that didn’t before. i already knew this album was special because it made me *feel* and few albums have the privilege of doing that, but now i’m comfortable saying this is the best black metal album of this century.
my soul would genuinely be decaying just a little bit quicker if not for the existence of this record and the knowledge of the emotions that went into it. “once in a lifetime” doesn’t do it justice. this kind of album doesn’t come in a million lifetimes.

i was pretty happy with how the zip hoodies turned out and i'm sad i didn't get one myself! it's a really subtle design and the print turned out great i'm most happy with the longsleeves so i'm glad i have a bunch of those spare which i'll sell later, first i wanna send some gifts out to some really cool people who helped trisagion happen. i originally said that i'd put them on sale earlier but give me some time and i'll put 'em out with some notice. i imagine they'll be £25 + shipping - pre orders were £18 but since then costs have increased so RIP
