"This reads suspiciously inhuman as a rev"

Well this sounds suspiciously inhuman as an album. Almost as if AI wrote it with a Killswitch template. It's all good tho. Not my first time being called inhuman lol

Kinda digging it. Well-trod road, but in a way that's familiar instead of just boring. Jesse still killing it

Jesse pours his heart out on here, on Aftermath especially.

As a constant hater of core bands past their prime, this is actually pretty good. Hungriest they've sounded since Daylight

It was good but it was also following up the awful self titled record so almost anything would be better than that since the bar was in hell

disarm and this are equals to me, fun fact there's a Serpentine Dominion outtake on this album and it's really neat. self-titled was solid i don't get the hate

This band made mainstream metalcore respectable and I think self titled really lacked what made the previous two special

I like self titled 2009 ok, but compared to the albums before it, it definitely felt like a “fuck it, I’m tired” release in all aspects. From the writing to the production. I’d still pick it over Atonement though.

Thought this was super simplistic, but I like some of those signature Killswitch hooks and melodies that still shine through from time to time.

Oh I definitely agree that it felt tired in comparison. But I don't think I'd say it was awful

Honestly KsE2 is about on par with where they've been since Decent, as in I've warmed up to that album as little more over the years. These guys have a good baseline of quality but they just rest on their laurels too much. I'm already jamming this more than Atonement so I guess that's a win.

Atonement had some of the best post-KSE2 moments of their career. But the album was just way too long, and could have benefited from a shorter run time.

Edit: My bad I was thinking of incarnate.
