Every time I try to get into this band I just can’t get past the god awful cheap Casio keyboard solos.

I don’t understand how such good musicians can have such bad taste.
They could easily use some different keyboard sounds and do some awesome blade runner shit or something but they keep using that horrible patch.

Alright, jamming the full album for the first time now. Intro track was pretty cool -- if somewhat predictable in the second half -- although I was suprirsed at just how heavy it was when the full band kicked in. Petrucci's finally starting to feature that 8-string more frequently, and I'm here for it
