I usually dig stuff like this too. This one just feels idk...stagnant?? Just feels like one that builds and builds but never reaches a climax. I'll give it some more chances before writing it off though for sure.

Yeah it never really explodes, in that sense is more krautrock than post-rock/metal if you get what I mean. I think they're more about building a trance and then just riding on it.
The first and last tracks are probably the heaviest. The middle stuff is mostly DCD worship but it's really well done imo. I love how the last track is like a dub beat but brutalized into doom.

That might be my thing. Its more in between metal and ambient but never really chooses a side and it just ends up somewhere in no man's land.
