Agreed, gyro. I do really like the creepy ambient tracks though

I love some of the reworks of this new OST, but the original will always be the best.

The game just came out on xbox for half price if that matters to anyone.

No chance. Angela’s performance in this remake is fucking laughably bad

All performances are detrimentally deadpan and lack all character/emotion

Was never a big fan of them when it first came out, but playing a year or so since I last played it, it’s not aged well, from a voice acting pov

When was the last time you played the original? The original VA are laughably bad. It fits in an uncanny way + nostalgia etc., but in no way are the remake VAs worse.

Where we do agree, is that the OST is a massive step down from the OG, but that's to be expected tbh

Game is pretty much everything you could want from a remake of a classic. Esp from a team as generally unremarkable as Bloober. I just hope they kill it with 1 and 3 and 2 isn't just lightning in a bottle.

As long as they don’t do whatever the fuck they did in the new movie I’m sure it’s gonna b good. Bloober has another new game coming that I’m excited for cause I think they got a good original game in the somewhere

All the voice acting in the OG is pitch perfect, with the exception of a couple iffy takes from guy cihi. Nothing nostalgic about it. I even showed my wife Angela’s final scene in both and said nothing until she watched both, and even she thought the original had all the emotional weight behind it

The original VA is fucking perfect. Not nostalgia. The in water letter reading makes me wanna cry. Hard. Just not the same emotional impact.

Monica Taylor Horgan will always be the best Mary. There is no comparison.
