I don't just have a soft spot for Something Corporate, I adore them and I'm quite happy to shout it out. I despise a lot of pop-punk but these guys have something different. They may have pop-punk guitars but they have a singer-songwriter as good as Ben Folds.
This album is wonderful, not a stinker on it. You know it's good when they have the confidence to leave something like Konstantine off it. I think they made the right choice on that, tbh, Konstantine stands pretty well alone.
This album kicks the shit out of North. Straw Dogs and The Astronaut deserve a special mention, two of my favourite tunes.

Ben Folds are like jazzy, piano-driven lyrics who have kinda humorous lyrics but sometimes get pretty serious- I'm sure you've heard "Brick" at least once- and they're pretty solid.
