Doing metalcore as well as KSE did it in their first several albums IS innovation.

To say KSE weren’t innovators is the actual hot take.

Don’t really care about this but the killswitch slander on the first page is ridiculous.

1. They were innovators whether you like it or not
2. Howard is a good vocalist are you deaf?

That is a whole new level of not separating the art from the artist.

Howard era Killswitch is better than anything this band has released. One of the only metalcore bands to get better as they went "mainstream"

Album is no where near as bad as many claim, it’s run of the mill painting by numbers AILD which overall is good even on cruise control.

Not a classic album but not remotely bad either, if you’re a fan of the band then this should be an enjoyable addition despite the chaos behind the scenes.

I heard parts of it and they even left the ONE thing that could've kept them semi-relevant and unique behind lmao

I don’t really agree when there were metalcore albums better and more creative than KSE’s entire discography that dropped before they ever formed. But hey that’s just me

they massively popularized melodic metalcore and made the genre popular and mainstream. you can not like it, but it's true.
