I'm one of those assholes that loved to the beat of a dead horse and found everything else to just be kinda good at best.
should give stage four another chance though

@Hawks
I feel like Lament compliments Stage Four very well. There’s more than a few direct references to that record. They almost feel like companion albums to me.
Review has me excited for this. I thought Nobody was middling at best but really dig the second single. And I’m very much down for some catchy hooks which makes me wonder why you hate reminders? That’s by far Jeremy’s catchiest hook lol, song feels like a pop punk track

Mezzanine sounds so Parting The Sea yooooooo

there's nothing resembling parting the sea in this

hard disagree, all of the heavier cuts have sounded closer to Parting than anything since tbh

I was a little worried about Jeremy’s vocals when I first heard Nobody’s but he sounds great here, especially on Mezzanine

Holy shit, Mezzanine is so good
Also, Jeremy’s vocals are way more visceral here than most of Lament. Altitude in particular.

Pleasantly surprised by this. Disasters and Mezzanine are absolute heat.
Jeremy sounds so reinvigorated which really surprised me considering how phoned in he sounds on the singles. Production leaves a bit to be desired too, but that's pretty much where my complaints end. The boys didn't disappoint 🙌
