i picked this up after i read your review, and you were dead right on everything. this is a masterpiece in my eyes. i even enjoy mustaine's vocals on here! i cant stand these boots tho, just cause it censors it, but the title track...is one of the best thrash songs i have ever heard...

good review i suggest this album to any thrash metal fans,it might not have the best sound equipment for the original but this is a very complicated album alot of work went into this and the riffs are incredible if you want the origonal album now you'll have to try e-bay but alot of stores have the remixed one

Yeah, I liked your review of this album, I think more than any other Megadeth reviews you did.
I respect people who like this, in adition to peace sells, so far so good so what, etc, etc
Fans of this album, are by nature true THRASH fans. I think its one that a general heavy metal guy wouldnt dig, but thrash fans thrive on.
Last Rites..Loved to Death, and Killing Is my Business are my favorites. With rattlehead being a song about the bands mascott "vic rattlehead" is cool too.
p.s the song... Killing Is my Business sounds even better live, and the demo of Last Rites..Loved to Death is total NUTS.... found on the new remixed version....

Last Rites..Loved to Death, and Killing Is my Business are my favorites. With rattlehead being a song about the bands mascott "vic rattlehead" is cool too. Rattlehead is about being at a Megadeth concert. The song about Vic is Skull Beneath the Skin.

the song Mechanix off this album is such a rip off metallica's the four horsemen.. but I heard the Dave Mustaine wrote the song the four horsemen with metallica before he was kicked out. Mechanix is my favorite song off this album though. in my opinion Mechanix has a better sound then the fourhorsemen. this a great album for hardcore thrash fans

No, Dave wrote Mechanix when he was in Metallica. Metallica fucked it up and changed it into The Four Horsemen after Dave left. Then Dave used it on this album.
