solid album and i'm happy they pulled it off post Strnad although it still hurts not hearing his ferocious screams and growls... hoping for some change in sound next album now that I know they can still pull off a great record

This is easily their worst album and I hate that that's the case

I had a long reply attempting to explain my reasoning only to come to the conclusion that I don't know what the objectivity percentage on people's profiles means at all. Fuck

Giving out too many 4s and 4.5s? Start listening to some post-rock to dish out those 2.5s and 3s!

The higher the objectivity, the better. It's like a game.

"weaker than i expected, Brian vocals are solid, but it sounds like he didn't write any riffs at all and let Brandon pollute the record way more than necesarry"

In general I do feel like as time has gone on with this band, especially over the last 4 - 5 albums, their riffs have gotten "zanier" and moved away from the more chuggy death metal riffing that I like more.

If they dipped into the Scientology crowd for a singer, this would be way better.

“Doesn’t break any new ground”

Idt this band has done that since Nocturnal, have no idea why you’d go into this expecting anything more than what it is

I like this tho, new dude is a solid replacement. Old guitarist back in the fold doesn’t hurt either
