I love this album. It was my baptism with the band in terms of albums not of the singles. Is this their best work? Probabbly not. Probably "Queen II" is better. But I don't know. But it was their landmark release and it had a great musical influence on many rock genres, including prog rock. This is one of their most versatile and eclectic albums. Isn’t maybe as dynamic, balanced and progressive as “Queen II”, but it's probably a more mature album with some amazing tracks. And this is an album very well produced.

In what concerns to me, I liked to read your review. Pos'd.

I don’t know how difficult those guys are, but on Reddit I ran across a perceptive and incisive comment about Bryan Erickson, frontman of Velvet Acid Christ, where a user opined that “I can say from personal experience that Bryan is a fucking douche-nozzle of the highest order.”
