wish Machi no dokoka de? went somewhere beyond interlude territory - p striking to hear them lean into traditional scales in between so many midwest USA-leaning tracks. would maybe clash with the rest of the album if it were more prominent, but still cool to have an unopened door on an otherwise v cohesive tracklist ig

Drumming's cool (per usual). Too innocuous and wafty to be interesting, though. I've given up hope that these guys will ever touch the magic of IDLE PLOT.

I mean RYM's score of 3.39 is probably accurate. Nice drumming as expected, feels more post-rock than math rock which is fine. Doesn't get near Idle Plot or Long Tomorrow. An improvement over Hear You tho

The lads are coming out to Australia later this year. Real close to when my wife is due to give birth and a two hour drive from my place. Surely I can squeeze it in? Lol. Albums very lovely. I'm sure they are amazing live.

I'll be at that Melbourne show too. If anyone hasn't heard Dumbsaint, check em out beforehand. Very good band

Not that similar, but great band nonetheless
