awesome album, pink moon really is an incredible song, and the rest of the album isnt too far behind. Great for all ages also. I got this one for my mums birthday not long ago

My mum prefers Five Leaves Left.

Because Five Leaves Left is a better album. ;p
Bryter Layter is also better.
Good review.

Nah man
Five Leaves Left = Pink Moon > Bryter Layter
|

That's what I thought for a long time, but then I gave Bryter Layter another listen. It won me over.

Three cheers for Nick Drake!!!
This album is fantastic, I love the fact it's so "naked" as it only contains vocals and guitar.

This is not a good review. I'll try to get around to redoing it later tonight.

I think this review is good considering that there is very little to comment on each song- maybe you shouldn't of done a track by track review. This Message Edited On 09.21.05

I don't agree.
Nick was definitely no more a genius than was Elliott.

Great album, I liked the review. Short and sweet. Only problem that I had was your description of Parasite as with an "uplifting melody". The song is great, but i can rarely listen to the song cause the melody is so depressing
Long live "The Drake"
Everybody loves "The Drake - Seinfeld

But comparing Nick to Elliiott Smith is a bit unfair. In my opinion, Elliott Smith is just a solid songwriter, Nick on the other hand was a genius. A SOLID songwriter?! They were both musically genius as much as you can possibly be.
