Love the production, the bars, and the hooks.

Agree with slex, hooks are kinda meh but the beats and bars are awesome. Not even close to his best LP but still a quality album

The title track was a smart choice as the opener. Itβs easily the best thing here and convinced me to listen to the whole album, even tho nothing ever came close. Palaces and the last track were also enjoyable tho. Feel like this album could have been so much more

is this worth checking if i thought the last album kinda sucked?
|
| |
Loving this, the beats are god mode alone. Also liking how short it is.

i also thought the last album sucked and dont like this one either so prob not
beats are like nujabes-lite and im not a fan of nujabes in the first place. the hooks are pretty terrible as well. give the opener a try though

Was just gonna ask that Ryus bro. :[

being a nujabes casual >>> being a nujabes fan >> disliking nujabes
ryus hiphop comment moment itt
|

the floor for his stuff is fairly high but the ceiling is also extremely low. dunno if ive heard a nujabes song better than a 3.0 or worse than 2.5
the rapping is usually pretty dire as well

Nujabeats are so magical it makes the corny rapping endearing af it rules
|
| |
i can get behind Ryus' take for Metaphorical Music and nothing else tbh β music on Modal Soul has much more instrumental muscle and leans less on trash raps (+ has a few guest spots that land better), and Luvsic is obvs a different ballpark entirely

this shit is so fucking good. Only songs I dont really rock with are Bigfoot, Outside, and Cake, but the rest of this is incredible. Already loved the opening song, love the Mumble Rap beat, LOVE Palaces, and then No. 1 Headband right after that is super dope too. Great project.
