also misses a bit of the contextual power behind this whole thing (re: the many versions of this that there have been, sosa quitting lean, the prefacing maturity of being one of the very few gang members that actually moved out of the hood upon becoming famous etc)
if anything it’s just a very surface level analysis of it all and really this deserves better

but it’s chill though
not like I’d neg or anything
I just think there’s a lot more you could’ve said and explored but it is what it is
to me this is as much a summation of a career as it is an album, and lyrically/thematically I think it tows that line, but nonetheless

Watched his performance in Chicago from a couple weeks ago on YT. Keef is a fucking icon man. He had his daughter on stage performing Kay Kay with him and it gave me chills. He has become such a great father and man in general. So glad he is happy and healthy and living life man. Dude did what everyone in the hood wishes they could. He got out, got rich and grew up.
