Thanks Jesper! Finally a staff reviewer who recognizes the importance of embedding the actual music they're talking about under the review. I feel like this should be the standard.

I really, really enjoy this. In agreeance with the reviewer and everyone else saying that this doesn't really have any standouts; there are a few moments I favor, sure, but this album offers a very consistent and enjoyable vibe throughout. Easy going, not flashy at all, but there is a simple sort of bliss that it exudes. I dig it a lot.

This is good but Deceiver was better (and by far their best imo)

I knew it would be a grower, and man, this album delivers. The atmosphere is subtle, yet so satisfying. Haven't heard a shoegaze release of this quality in a long time. I agree with many here that consistency is the key, the whole album is just one awesome wave.

I wrote somewhere that "Blankenship" is the pinnacle of indie rock (or at least sort of). However, it disrupts the flow on Deceiver, would have worked so much better as a non-album single. Here we don't have any standout tracks, which I find to be in the album's favor.

fwiw it's not always possible to embed a stream for the album in question (only works for bandcamp or soundcloud), but absolutely no excuses for all those who have to opportunity to do so and don't. not naming names but
guess I'll check this soon too

Almost guaranteed Johnny will find this mid (unless this is able to scratch a similar itch as the latest Cloakroom for you) but for the refined (normie) gentleman like myself this is one of the best gaze/dream pop albums of late.

much prefer the guitar antics here to the vox, they just seem so locking in personality in comparison

Revisited this on vinyl today and it went up an entire point. Incredibly subtle album but so much depth if you’re willing to dig. Lovely
