As I suggested to Hawks, In the Throes and High on Tulsa Heat are the best ones to check from here, those two are his masterpieces and pretty essential listens for anyone interested in modern Americana imo (Throes is right next to Isabell’s Southeastern as one of my favorite albums to recommend country skeptics/novices), but his stuff is uniformly great. He’s an incredibly talented person, obviously there’s very little that’s flashy about this but that he performed every instrument aside from the lead guitar on The More You Say and mixed and produced it all himself too just speaks to his authenticity. Sorry I’m such a shill, I’m just envious of y’all discovering him for the first time.
