for a new hip hop album by an artist at q's level, i would def say 3.4 is pretty lukewarm over there. especially when i feel like q is totally leaning into what rym typically likes. that is the same site that has big steppers and quaranta sitting at 3.7s despite most people acknowledging those albums to be a "step down". billy woods farts and gets a 3.7.

i swear i remember blank face opening with a 4+ avg on here, people everywhere were calling it an instant classic etc... then fantano gave it a bad review and over time the hype for it kinda withered away.

I mean I get where your coming from It should be higher but most albums at rym sit around 3.3-3.5. Kendrick gets super high scores cause he's Kendrick. In the description for the averages at rym a 3.5 is great. Crash talk for example has a 2.5 there. You can't compare Kendricks averages to schoolboys If you actually look at tons of averages on rym from alot of different artists you'll see most albums again average around a 3.3-3.5 on that site it's a standard positive score there

finally got around to this. really nice blend of oxymoron and blank face. great variety of beats and flow. too long but what rap album isn't now. touch below blank face for me on first listen but still a great album.
