Just clicked with me one day, I dunno if cosmic dm is already a thing but IE is quintessential modern cosmic dm band, all of their licks are spacey and cosmic af, just sounds like aliens came down to earth and recorded an album

this is fucking dope. love the variety here, so many different styles of riffs here and tempo changes galore. some sweet clean proggy parts. kinda like planetary duality but they definitely make it their own, less sweepy and more meaty. high vocals are killer, drumming is a standout. songwriting is great too just very memorable for the genre. thousand yard glare is my standout for sure, that suffocation like slam part is just godly. this is how i like my tech death, a little weird, catchy and full of life.
promising future for these fellas.

yeah this is a bit less sweepy i suppose. tons of cool meaty riffs. the prog touches are cool too, really well worked in.

If you liked this, check Eschaton. Apogean's singer, Mac Smith, is now in that band. Münzner's involved, so some wank is to be expected, but the first single off their upcoming album sounds promising.
