lol I'm an Anthony Green super fan and I'm always curious when he shows up to stuff outside his wheelhouse.
It's kinda tough for me to talk about this kind of music because it really does usually come down to me thinking "haha, that's awesome" and little else. Which is basically my thoughts on pt 1 lol

how is the anthony green feature lmao

Album Rating: 3.5
it's actually a fairly muted song, they definitely processed his vocals in a way that tones them down lol

Okay, you've got my attention.
The same thing kinda happened when he wandered into that Skrillex track too lol

also i love that they're continuing to make their last track on the album segue into the first track on the previous album

New one is a lil better, I find the whole album seriously repetitive tho unfortunately
Bah humbug that's just me tho, excited for others to dig in

"But how close was the thought of “I need a Brandon Boyd feature” jotw?"
one lives in constant fear of Anthony Green, but usually knows better expects a Brandon Boyd feature!

The Green feature is pretty tastefully done but also I'm a big Green fan so idk

Gallery was pretty dope too so that's encouraging. I'm excited to finally listen

the part in glitching prisms where the incubus guy says "PENISAUR PENISAUR" over and over in his godawful overblown chalky california inflection is annoying + desire to feel nothing stumbles along awkwardly through its first half with its choppy gradually accelerating chugging and offbeat drums, to the point it feels like an unfinished demo depirro cooked up on one of his improv twitch streams, and the high pitch feedback throughout sucks ass
so i'd be hard pressed to say part 2 is a 5/5 like part 1
but the rest is cool
overly subdued but still cool
phoenix owns per usual

You have some of the shittiest takes I've ever seen in the history of this site and imagine the territory that takes in

i praised everything but the laziest two tracks what do you want from me man
want me to stop nitpicking the little tiny flaws in stuff i actually like? cause i've tried, but it takes me out of the experience every time one pops up, and suffice to say i really didn't expect that here from these guys with their usual attention to detail.
simple changes in the vocal production on glitching prism's chorus could save it. i'll say that.

I actually wasn't crazy about the vox on Prisms but really liked the song overall tbh
I thought the actual like employment of the vocals on the Green song were better, was expecting it to be a banger but it's a really cool vibey song instead
