good album. production is fine, not the best but also not worth being weirdly militant towards? and i personally really dig the vocals. not sure how you can be remotely into any screamo and somehow think *these* vocals are bad?

Sound engineer should learn how to use a compressor, my god. Just drain in reverb and slam the hell out of the low end. Probably aimed for or mixed using phone speaker

this is like if someone had brilliant ideas in their head and then shit the bed bringing it to fruition. the vocalist seems competent but misses the mark far too often. like he should be a register or two higher in veil and amaranthine and the growls in another cycle are so fucking grating. not sure if thats the vocalist or production to blame there. also the timing/mix is often off. too bad, i think in the hands of a good producer this couldve been really good
