My list of favourite system albums goes in accordance with the dates they came out, my favourite being the self-titled. Hence, I'm at the mid-point with this album, but it's still far better than Mesmerise/Hypnotise.

I am the exact same way. Of course I also think there will never be another alt metal album as good as their S/T.

My first System album, and so far my only one, although I've heard almost all of their s/t and Toxicity. To be honest, it's too samey for me to call it a classic, it's somewhere between 4 and 4.5 at the moment. I have a feeling Toxicity will be my favourite System album, though I've only heard a bit of Mesmerize/Hypnotize. Most of the songs are really good, but as I say, just too samey for my liking.
