Liked Pushing the Pink Envelope, did not like the other two tracks nearly as much as anything on CT or DOM. Hard to top Celebrity Therapist, but yeah I feel like they are a little high on their own supply.
They seem like cool people who are soaking in the quick rise in the scene, hopefully they put together something more focused for their next LP

yeah best case scenario this is just an experiment gone awry and they'll be back with something a bit more focused on the actual follow up.

I'm pretty sure they were sitting on Celebrity Therapist 2 years before release (or at least some fair length of time). not sure how "new" these are in that sense.

Someone in the CT thread mentioned they had some lineup changes since then as well? Might have something to do with it

I remember them saying on their Insta story "recording LP2" around April of 2021. So, yeah they sat on Celebrity Therapist for a while. They did the same on Insta for this but it was roughly May this year. So, there was roughly 2 years between the recordings of these 2.

yepp there's video on youtube of them performing CT songs exactly as they are on the album over a year before the album dropped. and yeah, lead(?) guitar player and drummer from CT have since been replaced, also seems like the keyboardist left some time ago as well.
drums don't seem that different but the guitars on this EP are vastly different here vs. the rest of their stuff imo. the dillinger-isms seem completely replaced by modern metalcore tropes

I actually like the riffs on Designer Shroud but yeah this sucks ass and high on their own supply is 10000% the most apt way to put it
