Album art can be deceiving. It is a killer album cover tho.
As far as the music goes I can't say I'm too excited for this. In Abeyance is kind of a mess honestly, Flayed the Swine is cool but not dying to hear the rest.

I got a buddy in his 40s who's a massive cryptopsy fan theyve been his favorite band for 25 years he bought the debut the day it dropped. He's a full on cryptopsy nut. He gave this a spin today and told me "eh it's alright" that's all I needed to hear lol. I prob won't even bother

Some nasty riffs here can't save how plastic this album sounds, also really not feeling this dude's vocals much at all. If not the legendary Worm I would rather have DiSalvo honestly lol.
