Best heavy albs I've heard this year have been Chepang (grind), Kostnateni (bm dissoshit BUT FUN), Jeromes Dream and probably Bell Witch in that order

Ehh I'm a bit weary nowadays. I feel like Where Owls Know My Name was a massive turning point in that regard; that album got so much praise for doing the barest of bare minimums, and it just makes me immediately skeptical of bands that dabble in that stuff.
