i got like eight tracks through this before getting distracted at work... was not at all impressed with anything i heard and have zero desire to try and relisten

feel like he's been phoning it in more and more with every passing release after knocking it out the park with rodeo

also feel like travis's contributions to yeezus are being a bit over-exaggerated in the wake of this. dude has production credits on 2/10 tracks (both shared with six other people), zero writing credits, and zero vocals.

looking through his wikipedia rn and actually shocked how little of his own work he has produced considering how highly regarded he seems to be in that realm.

rodeo (which obviously has some all time production) and this are the only albums produced mostly by him. days before rodeo, birds, and astroworld are almost entirely done by other people. huncho jack albums also entirely done by other people

i'm surprised he even produced most of Rodeo and this, didn't know that

I mean weirdly enough I think I prefer the production on this than on Rodeo. Rodeo is the typical trap/pop rap production that barely do nothing to me , at least to my ear. Or maybe I'm just a "trap" hater which I doubt ? :shrugs:

@FrozenFirebug . I started with this having no experience with Travis Scott before except knowing about the controversy. I felt it was OK and maybe Im gonna bump this considering how I think the production is more interesting here than Rodeo and also there is nothing wrong with taste changing.



Like maybe one day I will appreciate both those albums.. Who knows
