Honestly, I don't mind Nik's content, but the "How to [BLANK] in 30 Seconds" worked better as shorts than as full songs. Only exception to that rule is Primal, nothing else here hit me in the way I wanted to.

Yeah they fit way better as shorts and I get the feeling he didn't actually want to fully flesh them out, but was pressured by the fans lol. Sure feels like it from how half-baked it all was.

The "making of" videos for each of these songs were pretty cool, but yeah, I wouldn't listen to the songs just to listen to them.

@Ash: Hardly. I like basically every band here (except Lorna Shore post-Flesh Coffin). These just aren't very good songs to me. The shorts were cool, but it felt like he didn't even want to make these into full-lengths till his fans begged him to.

One of the bands he's spoofing here literally has my AOTY right now it's not that I "don't like mainstream" it's that this project just wasn't as good as it could've been, and the Lorna rip is so obnoxious it made me want to pull my hair out.
