Lol and I forgot to mention the symbolism of the artwork being just a wrestling belt with the name of the album on it. amazing.

How else is he gonna wrestle everything into being about him? Gotta have the right equipment

TRUE LOL
|
| |
But what does Corey Taylor think about what Corey Taylor thinks about the wrestling belt with his name on it?
|
| |
It doesn't matter what Corey Taylor thinks about Corey Taylor thinking if Corey Taylor is around because he should only be thinking about Corey Taylor.
My head hurts...

I mean hey, Loudwire needs the inside scoop for their next cover 😂
|

Someone needs to explain the “what does Corey Taylor think about…” thing to me
|
| |
Also "Corey 'Moose Fondler' Taylor" is the best one of those and now my official name for Corey Taylor lol

It's an old joke revolving around metal magazines and their incessant coverage of Corey Taylor. Even if there was a completely unrelated news item, sites like Loudwire and Metalsucks would still try to get Corey's opinion on the matter... hence "what does Corey Taylor think of..."
A few other repeat offenders of this trend are Kerry King and David Draiman. So then you'd get a chain like "what does Kerry King think about what Corey Taylor thought of..."
It's not as bad now as it used to be, but goddamn, it was annoying as hell for a while. Especially around the .5 era of Slipknot

"Someone needs to explain the “what does Corey Taylor think about…” thing to me"
Loudwire used to incessantly get corey taylor to give his opinion on shit they were reporting on back in the mid 2010s

Some of the most by-the-numbers hard rock with cringy middle-aged rap rock vocals and lyrics, yeah this blows hard.
