I feel pretth conflicted about this album. There’s some cool atmospheric parts which I really dig, but surprisingly the more bombastic parts are actually dragging this down for me. It just feels so same-y and tame when they rip into something bordering on metal. It’s not bad though, just a bit boring. Probably not something I’d return to in any hurry. Surprised by the pretty unanimous love for it though. Feels a bit tame to generate much buzz.

I would say there's unanimous love for this at all. A fair few of us are rather underwhelmed.
