I love how layered and patient this beast is while also just being an unending spectacle, that kind of style hits me pretty easily when pulled off so well. In that regard, don't really think there's much wasted space here, there's always some sort of progression to appreciate.

Been listening to this a fair bit this week. Good god what a listen, the vocalist has a crazy good range and his lows... They could open a black hole. The music is really well written too.

Only album that I can think of similar to this is Odyssey to the west by Slice the Cake but these guys execute that type of progressive extreme metal with a lot more of a btbam-esque flair.

I'm gonna have to sit down with this for the next week or so probably. Right now I've got it in around an 8.5/10 range.

Glad to see this gaining some traction!

Definitely a BIG album, takes some time to take the whole monster in.

As someone who's become very fatigued by prog metal, this is really interesting so far. I love the dynamics and various instruments and how hard they contrast with the metal parts which are disgustingly heavy without becoming mindless deathcore breakdowns.

Definitely feel that prog fatigue frequently, albums like this are a wonderful reminder the genre can still crank out bangers.
