Possibly the best review format ever. No gatekeeping, no neckbeard elitisms, no drawn out forced metaphors, no ego flexing, no bro deals, just creative simplistic fun to give attention to the body of work. Big mad props.

I’ve been aboard the Spotlights ship for a long time and this is easily the most diverse album they’ve released. A lot of new elements. Electronic drums, horns and a cyberpunk overall feel. I love it. Good on them mixing it up. Thank you pizza for putting this on the Sput map.

This is amazing. The atomic EP didn't do much for me but this is banger after banger. I hear a lot of Failure/Hum influences too. The last track is delicious.

Sunset Burial is my favorite song I've heard in a long time. I just pre-ordered the vinyl.

Like others have mentioned I definitely hear some Failure and Hum influence as well as Open Hand (You and Me era) and maybe even a little Oceansize? Glad they went with more melody and increased the volume on the vocals this release compared to their previous work.

I'd call this probably their best, most consistent release yet. Their past stuff is usually good for at least 2-3 awesome songs and a lot of 'eh' stuff but this is just about wall-to-wall tight, interesting songwriting.

Giving this album a listen finally and it sounds great. I wouldn't have guessed that shoegaze and doom were really mixable, but here's a band that does it well.

Yeah it's no Love and Decay, bit of a letdown.

This guy's vocals are nearly identical in delivery as Open Hand. Actually everything about this band sounds like Open Hand
