Everything about this album is underrated. Each song has been my favorite at one time or another. I started with "Definitive Gaze" and "Shot by Both sides," but the simple buildup and energy of "The Light Pours Out of Me" is what I'm enjoying these days. "Parade" has even been at the top of my list--say what you will about that track, Dave Formula shines on it. He is totally underrated.

spose they have more emphasis on keys and atmosphere so they are relatively different but yea i'd rather spin (british-wise) wire, chameleons, joy division, talking heads, the sound, the cure, gang of four, echo & the bunnymen, siouxsie..

of the bands you listed only wire, joy division and the heads (who this sounds most like) and possibly gang of four even come close to this. It's so much funkier and musical than most other stuff in the genre, these guys could really play and it shows
