I'm more partial to her earlier stuff - she also happens to have gotten less country with each album, more or less, and I like her best in twangy form; I prefer Furnace Room to her two latest. But it's all excellent.

Yeah, I didn't expect the twanginess of the earlier work. It's at the forefront, as opposed to being more of a feature of her newer work (or at least the newer work I had heard). I'm in such a country binge mode right now that I'm loving the twanginess
