I do think this is worse than Lover lol
Lover has some of the best songs of her career and the bad songs are at least fascinatingly bad. The narrative strings make more sense there and, while still tired much of the time, make more sense for her to have lingered on than here three years later.

The song "sweet nothing" sums up my thoughts on this album entirely, because that's exactly what I'm feeling. It's not even bad though, it just doesn't seem to do anything remotely engaging. But Midnight Rain is pretty cool, some really nice production on some of this.
Lover is no better in my opinion, album is forgettable.

I think Lover is better since many tracks made me want to re-listen to it after I was done. This album is making me wonder which tracks I even liked enough to listen to again cause it's all so monotonous and dull
