This is way cooler and better than Counterparts tbh at least for me. This flows soooooo well

I never got the counterparts love. They’re fine but they sound like a bunch of other melodic hardcore bands imo

Same wildcard. Super keen to read through the lyrics. Hear bits and pieces but Quentins delivery can be so rapid fire

New Birds in Row? Oml is this the fucking year for quality jams
Beautiful review brother. It's nice to see how much music can tether itself to a scene, to an immortalized memory of your life.

Jay I was silent in the knocked loose thread when you said Isaacs vocals were better than Bryan’s.

“i know they aren't the same shit but i call this kinda the emo people take on melodic hardcore and i fucking eat this shit up. then i hear something like Counterparts and i can only do a song or two before I get bored tbh :p”

Nah I am the exact same way, only bands like that I can really dig are Shai Hulud and occasionally Misery Signals

Oh and the August Burns Red debut is legendary but I’ll skip any of their other albums

Mix and master fucking rules on this as well, Magnus Lindberg knocks it out of the park again and again.

Saw them at Amplifest in Porto last week and they were incredible. New material shows such a massive leap in songwriting ability compared to their last record, it's unreal.

I think they’re about the same quality wise, as in they’re fucking incredible and probably the best screamo band in the game rn

And I just want to mention for being a three piece it’s absolutely insane the amount of noise they make.

I love these guys so much. They deserve so much more success.

And at this point I’m fanboying but whatever. I asked them to hit my city on one of their ig posts and they liked it so I’m hyped as hell to see these new tracks live
