I actually can't stop spinning this record, it is just so much more cohesive and enjoyable to me than a lot of what they put out. I appreciate the variation this band offers but it would be nice to have more of this style going forward. Nice hearing the vocals not overdrenched in saturation or whatever effect they slap on the vox in post production every album too

Man this could have been their best album but the atrocious mixing and lazy lyrics really bring it down. Like, seeing magma live or the KEXP iron lung show what this should've been. Also the lyrics to hells itch are just... bad. Gliese 710 is their most underrated song tho.
