Okay... would you care to explain why you dont like them? And why are you spending your time commenting about bands that suck?

I just read your review for The Art of Drowning yesterday by AFI and I have to say. BOTH OF THEM ARE GREAT! Jesus this is my favorite out of alll the AI reviews. You have a gift Hep Kat. And tthat is writing astonishing reviews. Maybe you will save the world some day with that. =)

Oh and I forgot to add. I liked this album a lot when it came out but then when everyone went like supa crazy with it and the songs were to overplayed by EVERYONE AND THE RADIO and drifted away from it. AFI was my savior and pulled me out of the musicless sea with blankets and hot chocolate. lol. Thank you AFI.

lol. My friend laughed when I told her what I wrote.

It seems I always really get into bands when they haven't released an album in a while. Ex: Green Day a couple of months before AI, Thursday a year before A City By The Light Divided. Anyway I like JoS, We Are The Waiting is a good one imo. Great review. Keep 'em coming. It's almost inspiring for me to get off my lazy butt and write a review.

Awesome review, pretty good CD.

Good review, good album. My take on the genre for "American Idiot" is a mix of pop-rock and pop-punk. So I don't agree with you exactly on that, but I don't disagree either. :p

Dear god, you actually did review it. You craazy s.o.b, you.
|
| |
ok, this is a good review, other than the review
this album is just short of horrible, for god sakes, you cant get much more overrated than this. take a politically charged album with some crappy guitar playing and some mediocre drumming and you put out an album that sets Green Day for life and then some, and ends up getting more reviews than Mop, and ends up being up there with Dark Side of the Moon

Take out "politically charged" and "Green Day" and you've got Motley Crue with Shout At the Devil.
By the way, Green Day was secure by Dookie. This is just more pudding, really.

This album is better than Master of Puppets
Eh.
and Dark Side of the Moon.
Not really.
And there's only one "political" song on here.
Troof.

This is in no way better than MOP. If you took all the solos out of Master Of Puppets it still wouldn't be better. Atleast IMO

No controversy for Bron-Yr-Pilgrim.
so I like Holiday. YEAH.
Custis, I still rather like Master of Puppets. If you said almost any other Metallica album, I'd agree. This Message Edited On 08.13.06

I agree with you chan, but perhaps its mainly based on my massive bias against Metallica.

Yeah Holiday is pretty good. The solos don't suck. Sometimes I hate you chan.
...and as for the voices it's not really fair to either vocalist to compare them considering the sing in different genres that expect different thigns from their vocalists.
EDIT: damn I post slow. This Message Edited On 08.13.06

You can compare them talent-wise. Billy Joe is far better at what he does and always has been. Have you seen Metallica live? James is horrible. And his voice in the pre-Black Album days was all pre-teen and eh.
