yea i was already leaning towards the skip for obvious reasons but seeing that nobody even rlly digs that much makes me feel like im not missing out on much anyway

You're not missing much.
Side note, One Man's Cringe might be my new least favorite DGD song. Its intro is so shrill that I fittingly couldn't help but cringe.
I'll balance out all my doom and gloom with the fact that, as usual, it's catchy stuff and good for something energetic while I work.

If youve listened to the last 3 you’ve heard everything this has to offer

One Man’s Cringe is shite, and the title makes it even worse

Seems like folks are reviewing the life of the clean vocalist and not the album.

It’s kind of hard to ignore him when he’s their frontman and has been the core of their sound for the last 9 years

There's a zero percent chance this is a 5. And yeah, it's hard to want to listen to this knowing that an abuser would be getting royalties off it. Just easier to pass on it, especially since their sound had grown pretty stale recently anyway.

Opinion on the album is fine, but the writing/grammar is a God damn joke.

I’m not listening to these guys again until they sever their ties with him entirely. Kicking him out temporarily is such a bitch move

It's better than Afterburner, but I need to listen more to really solidify how I feel.

It’ll be like that until they get rid of the god damn neg button.

It’s more consistent than AB but it’s lowlights (One Mans Cringe, Feels Bad Man) are bad bad bad. I really don’t get the need to layer Tilians vocals to death on EVERY track. This is imo Mess’ worst album to date too, I appreciate he’s trying to shake up his style a bit but it certainly falls flat for me.
I’ll admit there are some great moments on here, mostly because I think this is Matt Mingus’ most standout drumming performance since Mothership. Idk why anyone would rather listen to this than AS2.0, Mothership or IG. This is painfully average. I don’t even hate it, I just am painfully bored when I listen to it because 80% of it sounds recycled.

"It's never a good sign when the 18-track album peaks on tracks 2 and 3."
that's literally every album this band has ever made tho. first track is always sorta decent and then it's the same cut and paste goofy goober rock for another 12+ tracks

...i liked one man's cringe lol. weakness for psuedo ballads lol. it reminded me of legend. i hate the song title but i admittedly kinda like the line "one man's cringe is another man's tattoo"
like...it's still cringey just inherently. but it's fine/would've worked better if it wasn't the fucking song title
