Listened to this last night and forgot to comment. This is gorgeous, but I'm wondering if it will suffer from the same fate that most shoegaze seems to for me. I get so hyped while I'm listening to it and it sounds so sprawling and majestic and breathtaking, and then I turn it off and have little desire to go back. I could see that being the case again here, because only a few spots really reached out and grabbed me, but I feel like maybe I just need to listen to this (and by extension, most shoegaze that I dismiss after 1-2 listens) several more times. This is a strong 3.5 for me, and for now I'm going to claim I'll revisit this and see if I make a liar out of myself or not.

that's definitely fair sowing, this record is indeed more on the 'super solid but nothing special' side of things. i highly recommend the new bedlocked for more uhh memogaze lol, i keep coming back to that record
