"Even the dumbest moment here sinks in to a certain degree. "Big Boy" is a collaboration with Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson that goes full retard. What admittedly started as a drunk jam with ‘70s rock/blues tendencies, ended up as a blend of ’97 Blur/early Gorillaz trip with stupid lyrics."
1) uh yikes.
2) okay thank fuck - only song i've heard from this, thought it bordered on egregiously bad but will check the rest maybe if it's an outlier

The debut is awesome, research chemicals is probably my favourite song of theirs
Couldn't disagree more with people disliking these lyrics, those people can take their perception of a 'non-stupid' lyric and ram it up their poop shoot.

It's got some great moments, but they're a perfect example of the live show being the true representation of the band. Idk if they can ever top some of the 15-20 min Shrimp Shack extended jams live, they hit on some Talking Heads-level moments of greatness there. Lyrically they're pretty funny and very good at writing catchy dissonant post-punk jams, I find their more political takes very cringe but the music makes up for it. Definitely refreshing compared to most of the bands who call themselves punk these days, They strike the perfect balance of giving no fucks while giving enough to be great.
Doesn't get much better than this https://youtu.be/Wli64MoT0G8
