This album has my favorite Cure songs "Lullaby" and "Love Song". Of all the song I have ever heard (Many songs by many artists and many genres) "Love Song" is my favorite well love song. My second favorite is "Shirt" by Jawbreaker. "Shirt" is so romantic in a twisted sort of way. Does anyone know if there is a video for "Lullaby"? I remember seeing the end of a Cure video and it looked like it could be for "Lullaby"

It's amazing how The Cure are on 120+ fan lists on Sputnik yet still they're quite underrated on here

Only sold about 70 million albums and have three albums in RS' top 500...
I've got a feeling that once I hear this start to finish, it will become a 5.

Only sold about 70 million albums and have three albums in RS' top 500... even so, when have you ever heard someone talk about The Cure in relation to massive impact, diversity/variety, etc I never hear them brought up in any music discussions. Sure they're fan base is massive but as far as public knowledge they're as important as Joy Division to the average person

Loads of modern day bands cite them as a massive influence, and their songs are referenced quite a bit in popular culture. Maybe not so much in America

maybe that's the problem
