I’m assuming this will grow on me. The best thing about Porcupine Tree is that even if the songs aren’t incredible, they bloody sound fantastic. The production is always insane.

I can see the average falling to 3.6 in a couple of months, this is autopilot Porcupine Tree.
Some good songs though, pre-In Absentia vibes here and there.

Definitely.
The ‘excitement’ will settle down and people will take this for what it is, which is a good album, consistent but ultimately vapid. It’s 100% PT which is all that is needed though.
