2.3 just kinda feels like an obscure rating that you don’t use very often so I think you should take it for a test drive

I'll have to give it more listens but I'm liking the second half more than the first half. Glad they did Open the Floodgates justice.

amsp is for sure better than this but that's not saying much. I don't think Thom has done anything particularly noteworthy since kol

Album Rating: 2.5
Anima is noteworthy (2).
Probably gonna go through this again and ‘keep / kill’ every track, not sure why because I already know what all the answers are. Doubt I’ll listen to the full thing again after that.
There’s me maybe expecting something slightly fresher with a new project name and all, but nah we just got (mostly) recycled Radiohead from an era that very much did not need revisiting. Shame.

One of those threads where the comments are skewed heavily negative compared to the ratings...
I'm not surprised this is getting a mixed reception, this project sounds extremely Radiohead-ish when I'm sure many were hoping for something more removed. And the particular Radiohead era it's mainly drawing from isn't universally beloved either.

wouldnt that be most threads probably

Album Rating: 4.0
Probably true to a certain degree, but this seems more dramatic than usual.
