This is solid as expected so far. No frills OSDM definitely hits the spot when the mood takes.

Yeah, it bursts into a massive groove. One of the best moments on the album.

Human Chandelier is such a bizarrely hilarious track name

It’s like they consulted the OSDM phrase dictionary and ran out of combinations so picked it out of a hat 😂… cool song tho m/

"Human Chandelier is such a bizarrely hilarious track name"

Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics, but it may be a reference to Ed Gein.

I’m getting nothing about chandeliers, just some urban dictionary shit and Gucci Mane 🤷‍♂️… so that can’t be it

Guessing one of his crimes involved one, or did you mean the band? Also supposedly named after him, idk anything about them tbh.

Wasn't it Ed Gein who had furniture with human skin from his victims? Just a wild guess, I have no clue.

I read the review so I have an idea, but everyone else that listened, shoot me straight: Is this nearer to the sound of their EP or the last LP?

Would definitely say they made their mark with this one as one of the stronger death metal bands of today. Prob top 5 imo. Nothing super original but they just lay it down man. High level osdm in all its glory

if you limit it to strictly meat and potatoes OSDM revival type stuff then maybe yeah, there’s a lot of other stuff I prefer

Good at what they do though, for sure

I'm more into tech/dissonant dm, but there are a few osdm revival bands I dig.

Fair enough demon. We all got our personal picks. I love my osdm so these guys tomb mold and mortiferum would all make my cut. I'm a simple man. it dont have to be artificial brain complexity to be a great dm band

The older I get the more I value simplicity. I also like to think I'm a simple man, Em1994.

Thanks, slikphuk. Yep, CC are all over the place. Morbid Angel also peeps in from time to time.
