It appears that I have chosen this as my hill to die upon.

You say this album's dong,

But I say, YOU'RE DEAD WRONG.

Dying To Believe is outstanding. Electronic, rap and hard rock work out well. I wouldn't mind if they put out a full-length record in this direction. this album is a patchwork.

"this album is a patchwork."

This is easily their most focused effort since F.E.A.R. but, that said, they still pack a myriad of styles & influences into this. I can appreciate this may have more peaks and troughs for others compared to myself.

i just want to stress again that 'kill the noise' blatantly copies a bmth song and idk if there's a better indicator of your band being dead than ripping off bmth lol

when I hear the intro and roaring “shut up”, I thought KILL was a tribute to Linkin Park.

I don't know. I won't say ripping off easily. they are bands with commonality. saw a big long list that "copied" bmth. When 20 years earlier, all bands were ripping off underoath. getting tired of the shits.

edit: chorus sounds similar to bmth's teardrops. that's true

I think prior to FEAR this band was pretty good. They had cringe, but they also had bangers. The Connection is really a fantastic hard rock album, I think. Infest is a classic in my book. Good review, weirdly makes me want to check this out lmfao

not a fan of this band but it's pretty admirable that they've managed to hang in there despite not being as relevant as years past

they promised their best record and they have made 2 amazing albums before with GAWM and Paramour Sessions so i refuse to let any reviews or comments deter me from going in with a fair attempt to try and enjoy and have fun with this album.

It's better than the last album. They at least sound like they're trying to do something this time around.

but what the FUCK is with that one line in Spanish on the t/t??????
