Doom Eternal is a joy to play. Really need to go back and finish it

'Yeah, the opinion is split right down the middle for sure. I enjoyed it for what it was, though I might be biased because of how much it reminds of Mass Effect'
I get that, but then wouldn't you be better off playing + listening to ME rather than checking this whilst presumably playing ME. I mean this by itself just isn't interesting enough to sustain someone with that appetite, surely?
but yes ME 1+2 rules, old Doom rules, Doom '16 rules, the soundtracks all rule
(this doesn't)

Fuck, I really hope that this does not sound anything like Ace Frehley!!
Apart from that it's an ace review. Stoked to receive my vinyl shortly!

This is giving me deja vu to when WITTR's Celestite came out. Both in the way that I was initially disappointed, but then realized it ruled after listening to it a few times.

I actually would have liked it more than the first one if it wasn't for all of that crazy platforming bullshit. A lot of times that I would get stuck on that game was because of insane platforming maneuvers instead of demons killing me, and for a game as metal as that, that was a downside.
If it wasn't for that, Doom Eternal would be like an 11/10 for me

What the fuck did I just read? Do you know Paul personally? Didn't know this was his solo band.

+1, Great review - plus points for the TPB reference xD
"God, this is one of the most punishing reviews I've ever met. It's like being cornered at a house party by a dude who won't shut the fuck up about Terrence McKenna."
This is me.
Recently gave this record a re-listen, it is still gud. Also a ballsy move from these guys.
