Cool.
I’ll go in for physical fascist this time round rather than arty tart first time.

1st playthrough i did inland empire/empath cop who wanted to heal everyones souls and was swearing off the drugs
second playthrough was high intelligence speed user who was basically an ultralib
and now im doing physical alcoholic fascist who has some strong views about women
tryna get kim to dislike me too but its too hard, i hate being mean to him

Thanks for reviewing this, Sunny!
Never heard this band before, and this was a pleasant first experience.

Band definitely has their place.
‘Do You Like Rock Music?’ was their moment despite suggestions that the albums prior to that launched them and are ‘classic’
‘No Need to Cry’ is a top 50 tune of the 21st century for me.

I think I'll start with the debut and work my way up there. Although looking at the ratings, the two albums preceding this aren't that great...

4.0 Pika rating on an indie album is always promising!

Cheers Pika, glad you're digging!
I actually haven't heard much of their recent work, all their early stuff is at least solid though.

Finally finished this. I might be enjoying this more than most people itt, there's something very solid about it. No bad tracks and they all seem like growers.

That’s some very Broken Social Scene-esque cover art

Hmmm, this album vaguely reminds me of BSS' Hug Of Thunder, which I put first in the "recommended by reviewer" section. I'm now wondering if it is all a subconscious connection with the album art and BSS' general artwork style.

Hahaha, sorry for sowing the seed of doubt in you

Can't get enough of Two Fingers
Also, I don't know if it's just me, but Spotify randomly won't play half of this album. I keep having to go to YouTube to listen to this and it's annoying.

Nice one sow.
Yeah album has a real flow to it, shame it’s playing silly buggers for you on Spotify.

It's just very solid. There's no songs that stand out in a bad way or that don't fit the vibe of the record, and there's a small handful that I'll play on repeat. Never heard this band before fwiw, but I'm a fan of this sound.
