Thought it was one of the beigest songs I've heard in quite a while

“This is just Spyro the Dragon soundtrack with vocals” - Copeland’s Spyro work is all I look for in music. Ozric Tentacles ftw

This is everything I wanted it to be. Flows well, with memorable choruses and memey one-liners, and the mix is so pretty and detailed.

Yeah that's a selling point lol, the Spyro music is fantastic

Gyro, probably just the wrong time for you and this album - honestly it’s a decent album from AnCo, has all the required depth and atmosphere but it’s not a trail blazing meisterwerk or anything like that

very very good. consistent with most of their best work. soundoff about people revisiting centipede hz is important

Enough turbulence re: whether this is good or bad to fully convince me it's worth checking out, will smoke a fat bowl and set the record straight soon enuff

being on a comedy set isn't something to brag about; not usually an exciting gig. but yh, i could not tell you the exact number of stand-up or sketch shows i've teched or designed for

I drafted a review for this but couldn't quite shape it properly. After hearing 'Walker' (which is still the highlight of the record, for me) I was kinda hoping this would be their full-on pop record, as in like total Brian Wilson worship, a bunch of sunny two-minute songs with actual bass lines and three-part close harmonies. They only gave us two out of three, though, I agree with the review in that some of these songs are just unnecessarily protracted. 'Cherokee' would be a bonafide classic if it weren't for its repetitious bridge; ditto 'Prester John'. It's made all the more disappointing because you just know they'll do a complete about-face for the next album and totally disregard the pop form / aesthetic for some wishy-washy experimental bullshit with an accompanying VR game or something. At this point I'm just stubborning holding out hope for another Person Pitch.

This is a lot better than I initially estimated. Very strong hooks compared to anything else they've done recently. I'm loving Dragon Slayer, Prester John, Strung With Everything, Walker, and Cherokee.
Nice writing up as well. Was happy to see this get a review.
